We went out last weekend and had our first experience of Agritainment for the year. I love the Fall and love getting to do stuff outside and show Sam there is more to life than our little subdivision. I know my husband LOVES getting out in the country with this city girl. He just sits back and thinks about how this would have never worked in his small little town when he lived on a farm. I appreciate him humoring me along the way. We went to Walden Farm and traipsed through the mud in search of the perfect pumpkin to decorate.
I think this is where Chris was using his turkey calling skills and Sam was fascinated that he could get the turkey to "talk back" to him.
Daddy showing Sam how to feed the goat--telling him they don't eat straw.
Here's Sam trying to feed them straw anyway.
Sam decided he could push the giant pumpkin. As a result, he ended up in the mud.
Counting all the pumpkins.
Getting the pumpkin ready for decorating.
Sam has do do EVERYTHING his daddy does.
After MANY attempts at a good picture with Sam and his pumpkins, this is the best I could come up with. It is hard to get a nearly two year old to cooperate when it comes to pictures I've learned!
