It all started this morning when the pantry door was open and Chris spotted apple pie filling on the shelf. He said to me..."You know what would be good?? An apple pie. It is Independence Day after all." I told him that he could ask his mother-in-law to help him make a pie crust (that is not my forte). When I came downstairs later, I found my husband and mom standing in the kitchen cutting butter. I decided it would be fun to document the process since Chris is definitely not the baker in our little family (he does cook, just not typically bake). Enjoy seeing the domestic side of my groom...
