Easter in Fast Forward

On Good Friday, we went in for my 38 week visit which included an ultrasound (the doctor was monitoring Isaac's size because his big brother was so large at birth). We left the office with instructions to head to the hospital Saturday morning because we were going to have a baby. In looking at the ultrasound, the doctor discovered that my fluid was really low and they wanted to get Isaac delivered sooner than later.

As a result, my plans for Easter had to be put into fast forward. I wanted Sam to have an Easter egg hunt beyond all other things. Mom graciously prepared our Easter dinner on Friday night instead of Sunday as she had planned and Chris headed to our house to pick up the dog and the eggs that I had prepared a while back (just in case). I didn't get to do some of the other stuff I wanted to, but there is always next year :-)

So, I may have gone overboard with the eggs....Sam had to keep unloading his basket so he could find more.

Checking out his loot. Very excited to see candy!

Chris does such a good job capturing Sam's good moments on film.

Me, on the other hand, not so much.

Friday night I was able to prepare Sam's Easter basket so he would have something special (other than a little brother) when we all came home on Monday.
