One of my favorite Easter traditions is dying Easter eggs. We normally do it on Good Friday or Saturday before Easter. I had a feeling that may not be an option for our family this year, so we did it the Saturday before (so I could carry on the tradition and see Sam get excited about the process--hopefully).
Sam is very independent these days, insisting that he can do it "all by myself."
