On January 1, 2012, I set out to complete a year long project....to take one picture every day for 366 days. I'm very proud to say that I did just that. No cheating or anything! At the beginning, I decided I would take all the photos with my iPhone. Am I proud of ALL my pictures? No. That wasn't the main point for me though. I wanted to capture everyday moments and really take notice. The main thing my friend Sara taught me before she left this world to be with our Father is to SAVOR everyday moments. I think I did this in 2012.
I look forward to completing this same project in 2013. I'm going to step it up a few notches and put it out there that I would like to have the majority of my pictures taken with my DSLR. That's a huge commitment to actually carrying it places and learning how to use the manual mode which is a goal for the year. It would be cool if others I actually knew participated this year. If you are interested, let me know and I'll send you the info!
