I got an email at the beginning of the week saying that the Preds would have an open practice downtown on Wednesday morning. The time fit perfectly into my schedule so I grabbed Isaac and headed down to the Bridgestone Arena. We sat right on the glass and watched the guys skate, shoot and scrimmage for about 2 hours before we had to leave to get big brother.
A news guy tried to interview a couple sitting near me but they refused. I tried, but he said I had a cute kid and things would be alright. Even though the "cute kid" didn't get a lot of airtime, I made a couple of the newscasts. All in all it was a great day. Glad to see hockey back again!
