We love car trips!

Okay...LOVE may be a strong word. We went to Indiana this weekend to visit my family. The trip up is about 4 hours long. Last time we went, the trip up went well, with the exception of him screaming for a long time before he went to sleep that night in the hotel. The trip back consisted of Sam sleeping half of the way home and screaming his head off the other half of the trip. This time around, we decided we would try another method of traveling. We left Friday morning around 3:30--thoughts of sweet little Samuel sleeping the entire 4 hours to Indy. It actually worked--kind of. He woke around Louisville. Once we were about to hit the back roads, it was about breakfast time for him so I hopped in the backseat, fed him and apparently took pictures to keep him amused. The weekend was great. We got to visit with my grandmothers, aunt and her family. If only there was a way to magically appear without all the drama of driving, that would be awesome!
