Sam has become a bit more demanding in his old age. He likes to tell you what you are supposed to do (and when to do it). Our couple days out in the snow were no exception. Chris and I were traipsing around in the snow with Sam as he would yell over and over again, "Momma, come on!" Then on to say, "hold hand." We journeyed out back of our house to the edge of the "jungle" as Sam called it. Not wanting to brave the thorns and trees to check out the creek, Chris and I convinced our little one that it was time to continue our adventure back to the house.
Here are just a couple more shots from this day...
One of the many chunks of "snow" that Sam discovered. He was so light, he barely would break through while walking in the yard.
Everyone keeps asking if we sledded. My answer is generally "not in the traditional sense." We have no sleds at our house. I considered making a sled out of something crafty but then decided it may not be worth the effort. We just have a baby hill out back of our house and we weren't going to go seek out any steep "sled-worthy" hill. We decided and learned that we could just sit Sam down and push him gently and he "sledded" all on his own. It made him perfectly happy! That's the idea, right?
Back up the hill again for another run.
