We spent a week in Panama City, Florida. It was Isaac's first beach trip. He didn't love the sand. He would go into the ocean with me or Chris though. He got braver during the week, but still not a huge fan. We stayed at a condo called
Splash. It was pretty great, right on the beach and a couple pools right there. They had a cool lazy river and a great play area for the kiddos (if you aren't afraid of HUGE buckets of water splashing down on you). Sam was very timid around that area. He would only go under the big bucket with Chris. He definitely got braver as the week progressed. We are constantly working on his bravery level :-) Splash will definitely be a place we will head back to in the future.

Isaac even got in on the action of the big bucket. Considering he SCREAMED his head off
the first time we went near this play area (with all the loud noises),
this was a major accomplishment! |
