Gingerbread Time Again

Each year, Sam and I do a gingerbread house together. Up till now it has pretty much been all me though. I normally pick up a prefab house that is already put together, you just use icing and put the candy on. Much to my surprise, when I opened the box this year, I had 6 pieces and a bag of icing mix. I had to actually assemble the house before it could be decorated. I wasn't expecting that part. It was a bit challenging and frustrating for yours truly. Sam had a great time regardless. He put all the candy on by himself. He loved the final creation!

At the end, someone may have been a little impatient and put the roof on too early. Chris tried to come to the rescue to put it together again.

Chris' support system made with some Dixie cups on hand.

A little worried that the roof would completely come off.

The house survived....just to have a chunk taken out of it by a certain someone to remain unnamed.
