I wanted to go do something with Sam during the Christmas season. I remember heading out to the Opryland Hotel when I was a girl and being awed by all the decorations and lights. I was hoping that Sam would feel the same way. Chris obliged my request and we went out Friday afternoon. When we entered the Cascades, Sam was pretty amazed. He thought it was a jungle. He loved the hot air balloons hanging from the sky and all the lights. It was fun to spend some time with our eldest. We made it a special night for Sam. We ate dinner out after Opryland and then stayed up late watching a movie and eating popcorn. It's pretty amazing what a 4 year old considers a great night!
