Smokey Mountain Getaway

With a 5 month old, our crazy work schedules in the late summer, early fall, we opted to head to the mountains for a week to unwind instead of trying to make a long trip to the beach (maybe next year). We rented a lovely cabin in the mountains and did just about everything you can do in the mountains without having to really get into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg too much. It was a great time away with my boys to just rest, relax and unwind.

Our cabin was equipted with a theater room, pool table, air hockey and a wonderful outdoor hot tub.
Sam getting his first pool lesson.
Sam figured out racking the balls really quick!

Dollywood was on our list of things to do. I had never been before. We left it to Chris to lead the way through the park. It was a nice amusement park and Sam had a blast. I think Isaac had a good time too. He did a lot of riding in the stroller and snuck in a couple naps here and there.
Here is an amazing shot of all 4 of us together on the carousel. Granted everyone is not looking, but what is new?

Sam loved the carousel. We rode it about3 or 4 times in a row at one point so he could get the dragon. It's amazing the things you will do for your little boy!

If you look close enough at the top of this picture, you can see Chris being silly.

We had to get a train ride in there on our trip to Dolly's  fortress in the Smokies!

More to come....
