Don't Cry For Me Argentina

We decided it was time to start playing sports. Our first one to try out is soccer. With two practices under his belt (no real instruction about how to play against another team), we took the field for our first game this morning with TEAM ARGENTINA.

A couple key lessons learned by mom and dad....remember to bring his soccer ball for the warm up and remember his water bottle. Otherwise, it was a good day. Oh yeah, we also need to teach him to keep his hands to himself. There were a couple times he grabbed another kid by his jersey and tried to hold him back. I guess it is in the Beasley/Roberts blood to get a little physical with any sports event.
He is SO PROUD of his uniform!

So sad when he realized ALL the other kids had their soccer balls and he didn't have his.

Dad trying to give Sam a pep talk before the game (just to get him out on the field).

Sam is a good cheerleader and happy to give the other kids five!
