Sam is still a bit hard to understand sometimes. We are in the habit of repeating what he said in hopes of getting close to what his communication intentions are. Normally we are pretty spot on. Lately, Sam will (I feel intentionally) slur a couple words together and have me or Chris repeat them back to him. For example he will say something that sounds like "build blocks" and we will repeat back to him in a question...."build blocks?" Sam automatically will look at me and say OKAY (like it was my idea to go build blocks with him in the floor). He has the most enthusiastic "OKAY" I've ever heard. He is fast to grab your hand and start pulling you as soon as you have confirmed that you know what he said. He is beginning to figure out how to get the best of his unsuspecting mom and dad!
