The other night, we had Preds tickets a few rows off the glass. We got there in time for the pre-skate. The three of us walked down to the glass to check out the team close-up. Sam loved it. We were on the other team's end of the ice, but it didn't matter to Sam in the least. It was pretty crazy seeing the guys skate up right next to us and hit the glass hard.
This was the best picture I could get of Chris and Sam.
As Sam took everything in, one of the guys (Henrik Sedin for anyone out there that cares about hockey) took a puck and sent it over the glass for Chris to catch. Chris gave the puck to Sam and he took hold of it. He wouldn't let it go the entire game! The next day, he continued to carry it around the house, so proud of his prized possession.
